Timber Hill Health Centre is operated by Norwich Practices Ltd. under a contract with NHS Norfolk, the local Primary Care Trust, to provide NHS services.





Norwich Practices Ltd. is owned and operated by the GPs at fifteen local GP practices.. The company was set up because those local GPs felt they could provide more and better services to patients if they worked together.





NHS patients residing in Norwich and its immediate suburbs may register with us for GP services. We offer a full general practice service, including specialist clinics indicated on the following pages.





We aim to treat all our patients to the best standards, promptly, courteously and in complete confidence. Because we feel it is important you know who you are speaking to, our practice staff will always identify themselves on the telephone.





The Health Centre was opened in July 2009 and now has nearly 4500 patients registered.

TERMS OF REFERENCE



• This reference group is not a forum for individual complaints and single issues



• No individual clinical issues can be addressed or dealt with through this group these should be taken up with your own GP.



• Open and honest communication is encouraged



• A commitment to deliver results as a group



• All views are valid and will be acknowledged



• Help the practice to design new services and initiatives



• Respond, where possible, in a timely way to requests from the practice for information/help



• No questions/requests from the practice will be of a medical or personal nature



• Your contact details will be kept securely and will only be used for this purpose and will not be shared with anyone else



• Normally your doctor will not see your information or responses. If your doctor is responsible for making some of the changes in the surgery that have been suggested through surveys etc, they might see general feedback from patients.



The PPG will not be involved in fund raising nor the administration of donations to the practice.
